Although Ramesh was a highly educated man, he never created any problem for Tendulkar’s career choice.

Then his father asked his brother Ajit to take the decision, but, at last it was the young Sachin himself whom his father left to decide whether he was interested to change his school. Sachin eventually got agreed to join in Sharadashram Vidyamandir School when he was 11. This shows that he was a very liberal man and respected his children.
