his father ramesh tendulkar's impact on sachin

Ramesh Tendulkar is the father of Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar. Ramesh Tendulkar was a poet in Marathi language. For his distinct contribution to the Marathi literature, he was honored with gold medal. Moreover, he was a critic, novelist and a talented professor of Marathi literature.

Ramesh Tendulkar was a great source of inspiration for young Sachin Tendulkar. Mr, Ramesh always believed in self independence. He never created pressure on any of his child to choose their own profession. For instance, once Coach Ramakant Achrekar, the childhood coach of Sachin, urged Sachin’s father to change his school and join to Sharadashram Vidyamandir School, where Sachin later started playing school cricket. Although Ramesh was a highly educated man, he never created any problem for Tendulkar’s career choice.
Sachin first studied in Indian Education Society's New English School where there was not any cricket ground and coach. Then his father asked his brother Ajit to take the decision, but, at last it was the young Sachin himself whom his father left to decide whether he was interested to change his school. Sachin eventually got agreed to join in Sharadashram Vidyamandir School when he was 11. This shows that he was a very liberal man and respected his children.
Ramesh Tendulkar died during the World Cup Cricket 1999 when he was 66. It is a loss that Sachin could never forget. I started writing about Sachin and when I read about his father, I felt a lot of respect for Ramesh Tendulkar. May his soul rest in peace.
