Poor fielding let us down against Kochi Tuskers: Tendulkar

MUMBAI: Mumbai Indians skipper Sachin Tendulkar expressed his disappointment over fielding of his team, and hoped to improve in the forthcoming matches of the Indian Premier League .

Despite a century by Tendulkar, Kochi Tuskers beat Mumbai Indians by eight wickets after chasing down their big total of 182 runs at Wankhede Stadium.

Recounting the mistakes of his players in the match, Tendulkar said the rival team fielded comparatively better than them.

"There is a long way to go in this tournament. We are disappointed little bit but these ups and downs are going to be there in this format. However much you plan but you still need to do certain things there spontaneously and not to forget that the opposition was also here to win so they fielded better. I thought bowling and batting possibly we matched each other but in fielding department they were possibly better," said Tendulkar.

He also said in 20-20 format a single mistake counts which can change the fate of the game.
