The last year hasn't been too kind to our Master Blaster, with whispers growing louder about his waning strength. Some even called for his retirement. Sachin, for his part, answered them with a superb ton - and a magic makeover for his crowning glory. Gone is the frizzy, spaghetti hair that we've seen in some form or the other since his tumultuous debut in Pakistan back in 1989.
The cricketer now sports a lustrous head of straightened tresses - a tousled, out-of-bed look. It adds just a touch of playboy cool to the charisma of the man who's always been the epitome of middle-class Indian values. So far. But then, who said superheroes can't change?
