Sachin Tendulker's photo on Himachal cricket tournament’s posters

Sachin Tendulker is the major attraction of the posters of JP T-20 Mahasangram Cricket tournament of HPCA.

The photo of this Top cricketer of the world was published on the poster, as Tendulker is the brand ambassador of the Jaypee Cement, said one official of Himachal Cricket. The poster shown a view of the lovely cricket ground of Dharamsala, with a tremendous snowy back drop of the Dhouladhar Mountains with Sachin’s face cut on its left side and HPCA’s President Anurag Thakur’s face cut on the right hand side of the poster. This poster was released in Dharamsala.

The tournament will take off from Kalpa the remotest District Head Quarters of Himachal on 13th of this month. The PRO HPCA Sanjay Sharma said that this year they are expecting more than 1300 teams with around 1800 players, which shall be a unique record. The association has already applied for its entry in Guinness book of world records. The official of Guinness book indicated that they will keep an on it. 500 officials all from Himachal shall look after this mega cricket event, which is designed for the cricketers of the state only.

The semi finals and finals of the event shall play under flood lights in Dharamsala, he said. In the last years tournament 1017 teams participated. Till date around 600 teams registered for JPCement T 20, 2010 tournament and the registration shall close on 7th, he said the official said that cash prizes of 30 lack shall be given.
