Sachin Injured: Scan on Sachin’s left knee
Apparently, there’s no cause for alarm, but fact is that an MRI has been done on Sachin Tendulkar’s left knee.
“Look, he’s fit for the rest of the World Cup.… The MRI hasn’t revealed any serious damage,” a well-placed source told The Telegraph late this evening.
The MRI, it seems, was done in Mumbai after Team India’s arrival (without captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni) from Bangladesh in the afternoon.
Sachin stayed back in Mumbai, his hometown, while the rest proceeded to Bangalore, where India’s next match is going to be played.
The well-placed source added: “If required, Sachin will be given a shot.… Of course, whatever is prescribed is going to conform to the regulations in place.”
Sachin (like Dhoni, from Ranchi) is expected to be in Bangalore tomorrow. An update on his knee should be available then.
