Sachin, Yuvi rule youngsters' hearts

CHANDIGARH: Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvaraj Singh are ruling young minds in the Tricity as Mohali prepares to host the India-Paksitan Semifinal on March 30. The Master Blaster of course rules the popularity charts as always and local hero Yuvi is second only to him. Sehwag is the third most liked player. Youngsters are gearing up to get autographs of their favourite players.

While some plan to catch them during net practice, others are thinking of meeting them in the hotel where the team would stay.

''Sachin has proved himself time and again and when he holds the bat, all eyes are on him. Moreover, it is his dream to win the world cup before he retires. I want his dream to come true,'' said Hitesh Bali, a resident of Sector 16, Panchkula. Shweta Chauhan, a resident of Sector 38, Chandigarh, said one always had expectations from those who were good and Sachin was the best. ''I am very hopeful that he will score his 100th century at Mohali,'' she stated. However, there are some that are biased towards Yuvi and call him their favourite.
