Sachin Tendulkar loves numbers. The man who has over 32,000 runs in international cricket, while selling his red Ferrari Modena 360 to a friend in Surat, has retained his lucky number plate MH01 AD 9999.
This was revealed by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer, A S Khairulla.
Speaking exclusively to MiD DAY, the RT Officer said, "Sachin Tendulkar made a special request and opted to pay the notified fee of Rs. 50,000 for the VIP number plate and retained his old one."
"Sachin Tendulkar sent his representative with a letter and a demand draft of Rs. 50,000," the officer added.
