Sachin Tendulkar - “From Little Master to an Art Master”
Sachin Tendulkar before leaving the city of joy, stopped at a art-studio near the bypass on his way to airport where he was welcomed and given a paintbrush to paint something. Its a rare moment for us, we didnt see Sachin paint so beautifully before. He pickd up the paint brush and drew the pic on the white canvas Said some People in the Studio.
There were many colours of paints dispalyed. Sachin picked up the blue one. when asked why blue he said ''I like Blue Colour a lot & thats why I picked it”. My daughter Sara loves to draw and paint, But despite my love for art cant make it .This is the 1st time I am trying my hands at drawing he equipped heartily.
''M.F Hussain the noted artist once presented me a 'horse series' which still hangs on my wall '' he added. Sanatan dinda, the studio's artist who draws pictures was overwhelmed and asked Sachin to sign at the end of the picture. Sachin asusual said heartily, without you this would not have been possible, I didnt draw it I had just helped you in your drawing, How can i sign since i havent drawn it?
But atlast by his earnest request, Sachin wrote his first name, 'Sachin' on the canvas. He then had a traditional Kolkata Sandesh and said,' Amazing! Its available nowhere except at Kolkata.' He was thereafter presented a fibre glass jacket by the artist and given best wishes for the 100th ton.
He was happy getting that jacket and hearing that it took just a day to make it, he joked '' it seems Sanatan loves his T-20 batting more '' He said, he buys photos from places everywhere in the globe where he visits ' I buy good pictures if i get them'' he said on that context. Sprinting various colours on the canvas Sachin Tendulkar bid adieu to kolkata. Now we wait for the 100 at Mumbai, where instead of the paintbrush he Will hold the bat, and with the ease of brushstrokes will run WI ragged !! Who knows the 100 is waiting nearby !!
