PHOTOS : Sachin Tendulkar launches Indian Celebrity Cricket League in Mumbai

Actors from the film and television industry geared up to play the gentleman’s game after cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar launched the fourth season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) here.

The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is a non-professional men’s cricket league contested by eight teams consisting of film actors, including from the regional film industry.

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who is the captain of the Bollywood team ‘Mumbai Heroes’ said the tournament was a good opportunity for actors to relax and also showcase their sporty side.

“Cricket is a sport which you enjoy. We are not professionals but we play as a team. There are various actors playing in our team,” said Shetty.
Around 200 celebrities from film industries across India participated in the inaugural event of the tournament.(DNA)
