Ahmedabad: Richie Richardson, a former captain of the West Indies, spoke to The Telegraph recently and saluted Sachin Tendulkar.
Richardson, an outstanding batsman of his generation, is now the West Indies’ manager.

(Laughs) Amazed? I just don’t know how Sachin does it, even after 21 years.
What has surprised him the most...
That, after all these years, Sachin has retained the urge to get up each morning and start a fresh day as a cricketer. To have that mental capacity is quite unbelievable.
